"Agroinvest, a leading Company in edible oil extraction and refining, has selected Andreotti Impianti for the design and supply of their new 700 t/d biodiesel complex in Achladi, Greece. The plant will be able to handle different kind of raw materials for producing biodiesel meeting the European Standards EN 14214, profiting of the very favourable logistics provided by the Company position directly on the coast, with a self-owned ship loading/unloading system of big capacity. This plant is the second plant of this kind supplied by Andreotti Impianti in Greece and among Europe's biggest ones. The plant is expected to come on stream during the Summer of 2006. "
"AGROINVEST S.A., Greece's biggest biodiesel producer thanks to the 700 t/d transesterification plant supplied by Andreotti Impianti, has just ordered our Company a special esterification plant, with a capacity of 150 t/d, to convert fatty acids into biodiesel-suitable glycerides by reaction with part of the crude glycerine coming from their biodiesel plant. The plant is able to produce extremely low acidity glycerides (max 0,2% FFA) without the use of any catalyst and without any necessity to treat crude glycerine prior to reaction, making use of the most updated technology in the field, completely developed by Andreotti Impianti's engineering team and already proven on other plants sold over Europe."
